Colin Firth, The Railway Man



After being awarded Best Actor at the 2011 Oscars for his triumph as King George VI in The King’s Speech, Colin Firth tackles another real life character in The Railway Man, portraying traumatized WWII Japanese POW Eric Lomax. In this interview Firth discusses the historical and emotional aspects of Lomax, as well as what draws him to accept a role.
