Clive Owen, Words and Pictures
In one of the most multi-layered and complex roles of his career the veteran British actor adopts an American accent to play a functioning alcoholic prep school teacher in Fred Schepisi’s Words and Pictures.
Owen discusses his three year long commitment to the project, getting along with leading lady Juliette Binoche, not having his scenes stolen by teenage actors, and returning to television as an 1900s doctor for Steven Soderbergh’s The Knick, a 10-hour series which premieres August 2014.
