Clay Enos, Watchmen Portraits
A physical trainer/coffee entrepreneur/photographer who is best buds
with Zach Snyder, Clay Enos went from training the stars of Snyder’s
300 to being the unit photographer for Watchmen.
As he explains in a sitdown at the noisy Chelsea java joint Café Grumpy, Enos decided to
do portraits of the cast and crew as a sideline. The result is
Watchmen Portraits (Titan Books),
a large scale photo book that consists of 220 portraits of anyone and everyone connected with the
making of this $150 million comic book movie based on Alan Moore’s
graphic novel. Enos also
has a film tie-in with Nite Owl Dark Roast,
a Watchmen-inspired blend available through his Organic Coffee Cartel (14.5 minutes).
