Christian Slater & Justin Kelly, King Cobra

It was James Franco who brought Christian Slater and Justin Kelly into the wild realities of King Cobra, which chronicles a real-life rivalry set in 2007 in Los Angeles between gay porn filmmakers (Franco and Slater) that led to murder. Slater and Franco had first worked together on 2015’s The Aderall Diaries while Franco starred and produced Kelly’s debut feature My Name Is Michael, a gay biopic with twist. Now the trio reunites for a film that is being called “the gay Boogie Nights.”
