Charles Ferguson, No End in Sight
For his first film, the Sundance 2007 award-winning documentary No End in Sight, Charles Henderson focuses on the origins of America's war with Iraq and clearly, concisely - and with testimony from Bush Administration officials - offers a devastating assessment of how, early in the game, a lack of planning (there was none!) and preparation, not to mention weapons and assault gear, were woefully lacking. The soft-spoken Henderson, a UCLA-Berkeley and MIT grad who previously worked in academia and then developed a software program he sold to Microsoft, says he's in the movie business for good now.
