Catherine Deneuve, Potiche

Catherine Deneuve's extraordinary half-century reign as the queen of French cinema is being celebrated with the release of her latest hit, the Francois Ozon comedy Potiche (Trophy Wife) and her first American retrospective, a 25 film salute at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. For this latest sit-down with Beyond the Subtitles, Deneuve discusses why she values a relationship with the director of a film, what the legendary Luis Bunuel was like to work with, and why after only two Hollywood movies she returned to France.
