Cary Joji Fukunaga, Sin Nombre



A favorite at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, Sin Nombre
won the Directing Award for Cary Joji Fukunaga and the Cinematography Award for Adriano Goldman. Fukunaga talks about his Japanese-American heritage, his film studies at USC-Santa Cruz, the months he spent in Mexico prior to filming and what he thinks about refugees, gangs and doomed romance (25 minutes).
