What do Hieronymus Bosch and Hans Christian Anderson have in common? Daniel Durning talks about work and inspiration with digital iconographer Carla Gannis and Zoetrope master Eric Dyer recorded at Pulse and Moving Image Fair in NYC in March 2015 during Armory week.

Carla Gannis is an artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She holds an MFA in painting from Boston University and is the recipient of several awards, including a 2005 New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Grant in Computer Arts. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. In the late 1990s she began incorporating net and digital technologies into her work.

Eric Dyer is an artist, filmmaker, experimental animator, and educator. His award-winning films have screened at festivals worldwide, at the Exploratorium, the Hirshhorn, the Smithsonian National Gallery of Art, Ars Electronica, and the Cairo and Venice Biennales. He received his MFA in 2004 from the Mount Royal School of Art at MICA, was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship in filmmaking for travel to Denmark in 2005, and was a New Frontier Artist at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
