Bluey of Incognito
Jeannie Hopper interviews Bluey of Incognito on the occasion of the release of his first solo album Leap of Faith. Bluey fired up the band Incognito in 1979 and to date they've released over 15 albums, traveled to just about every country, and continue to sell out venues including recently 2 shows at BBKings in New York City. Bluey discusses his rich musical history; from owning a record shop in the UK, to formulating Incognito and going on to produce Chaka Kahn, George Benson, Maxi Priest, and many more. Released on Shanachie Records, his album Leap of Faith features Bluey's deeply personal yet universal and inspirational lyrics, as he takes the role of not only producer but vocalist frontman.
