Asghar Farhadi, The Past

The Oscar winning Iranian writer-director of 2011’s “A Separation” follows that surprise hit with “The Past.” It's a French language drama that was filmed in France, with two French stars Berenice Bejo (“The Artist”), the Best Actress at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, and Tahar Rahim (“A Prophet”) alongside Iran’s Ali Mosaffa. The three partake in an unusual love triangle sorting out a divorce, pregnancy, trust, and parenting issues. In English and Farsi.
