Aman Mojadidi
Aman Mojadidi rolls into the Clocktower to bring us up to speed on his latest work. Aman works in Kabul and through interdisciplinary projects involving sound, video, installation and photography, he seeks to explain his own contradictory background. Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, he's faced the racism against Afghan immigrants and then later moved to Kabul to investigate his family's background post-Taliban. Much of this culminated in the project "Afghan by Blood, Redneck by the Grace of God." Mojadidi has also exhibited projects at the Kochi/Muziris Biennale and dOCUMENTA (13).
