Aly Michalka, Bandslam

A mere twenty-years-old, Aly Michalka (it’s
pronounced Me-sha-ka) is not going to let her statuesque beauty stereotype her as an
empty-headed glamour gal, much less some vindictive diva. A Disney
Channel star with her younger sister Amanda on Aly & AJ, she costars
in the High School Musical-inspired Bandslam as the ultrahip high
school senior who takes a talented outcast under her wing for a
musical competition. It signals the start of high-profile film career (15 minutes).
