Will Corwin: Andrew Ross

Andrew Ross is currently featured in the exhibition Politicizing Space
at the Shiva Gallery at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.  He chats with Will about the piece he presents there; Secret Lives of Mole People and how it functions as an intersection of politics, architecture and means and methods of representing an artistic practice.

Ross is fascinated by the idea of the Zombie Apocalypse--in sci-fi terms as well as its coded meanings in the Alt-right white supremacist political movement. Ross touches on his novel approach to appropriation which involves creating objects and images that looks recognizeable but are usually original objects. He will present Solo projects this year at False Flag Projects in April, Clima Gallery Milan in June, American Medium in October and Time Farm at MIT Press Bookstore in the Fall.
