2017 Radio Residency

YATTA is a Sierra-Leonean American digipoet and performer who remixes shamanic sounds with her jazz vocals to create music to lie down in. 

SHE RESONATES is a collaboration between Las Marías, a grassroots gender justice and feminism forward education project, and sound artist and composer Merche Blasco.

ABOUT:

Clocktower's Radio Residency is geared towards creative practitioners interested in making projects for the radio. The residency runs for 3 months during which participating artists will work alongside Clocktower's radio producers and editorial team to create original audio projects, publications, and programs. Stay tuned!

Past residency projects have culminated in live radio performances, recurring podcasts, one-of-a-kind sound performances, and site-specific sound walks, risograph books, zines, and cassette mixtapes.
