Yiyo Tirado

Yiyo Tirado (b. San JuanPuerto Rico in 1990), completed his bachelor's degree in graphic design and printmaking from the Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico. He is a graphic designer, visual artist and Director of Km 0.2, a non-profit contemporary art space in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

He is currently a fellow in La Práctica, a practice-based program run by Beta Local, an arts organization in San Juan.

For Tirado's Focus On Puerto Rico project, he will use a set of objects that elaborate the idea of ”revitalization" and "urbanization" within coastal areas; namely, those used for touristic purposes.
