Yiyo Tirado

Yiyo Tirado (b. San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1990), completed his bachelor's degree in graphic design and printmaking from the Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico. He is a graphic designer, visual artist and Director of Km 0.2, a non-profit contemporary art space in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

He is currently a fellow in La Práctica, a practice-based program run by Beta Local, an arts organization in San Juan.

For Tirado's Focus On Puerto Rico project, he will use a set of objects that elaborate the idea of ”revitalization" and "urbanization" within coastal areas; namely, those used for touristic purposes.
