Rosario Güiraldes
Rosario Güiraldes is a curator based in New York City. She has curated exhibitions and organized curatorial projects / public programs at Consulate General of Argentina in New York (2012); Fundación Proa, Buenos Aires (2013 and 2015); Judd Foundation, New York (2014); International Studio and Curatorial Program, New York (2016); and Hessel Museum, New York (2016).
Her most recent exhibitions include Forensic Architecture: Towards an Investigative Aesthetics at the Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo, MUAC, Mexico City (2017) and at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, MACBA (2017) and Praising the Surface, at the Hessel Museum of Art, New York (2016).
She is a former co-owner and curator of independent art space Peña, in Buenos Aires (2011–2014). She is also a former co-editor of Correspondencia and Compost magazines (2009–2014).
Güiraldes holds a B.Arch from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and an MA in Curatorial Studies from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College, in Hudson, New York.
