Open Call for Residency Proposals

The Clocktower Gallery and ARTonAIR.org are issuing an open call for residency project proposals. Three awardees will be given a one month residency in a Clocktower artist studio and a $500 stipend. Please read the submission guidelines carefully before applying. You must be an artist living in the five boroughs of New York City to receive this residency.

Artists may propose projects in all visual, audio, and performing arts media including painting, sculpture, video art, sound art, music, theater, and new media. Poetry, fiction, and non-fiction writers are not eligible for this residency. Proposals will be judged on merit, originality, and feasibility given the financial and time restraints.

4. No more than 2 relevant links

The deadline for proposals is 11:59pm, Friday July 22, 2011. Residencies will begin in January of 2012 and will continue throughout the year. While residents will be consulted as to the best time frame, applicants should be prepared to be flexible if selected.
