Open House, Open Studios 24 January
Join us as we open the studios of three artists now working in the Clocktower Gallery Production Studios this month and view new and developing projects:
Heather Dewey-Hagborg reveals explorations in displaying genetic data collected and distilled during her residency at The Clocktower Gallery and GenSpace.
Richard Garet unveils three new multi-channel audio and video works that coexist in conversation with one another, within the same environment, and collectively establishing an intertwined reception of the work.
Andrew Haik Demirjian is a media artist combining computer programming, conceptual art practices and musical forms to create systems that dynamically grow and change based on user input or self-reflection. For the open house he will be showing multi-channel excerpts of the Grand Canyon work as well as recent iPad interfaces for experimental documentaries and javascript text pieces.
The event takes place at the Clocktower Gallery in Tribeca on January 24, 2013 at 6pm, no admittance after 7pm. RSVP is required to events@artonair.org
Long term exhibits and our newly renovated galleries will also be open to visitors. New exhibitions in those galleries are scheduled to open at a later date.
