Mana, Clocktower, and MECA Art Fair
The MECA International Art Fair will take place in Santurce, Puerto Rico from June 1-4 of 2017 at the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico.
In celebration of a new partnership between Mana Contemporary, Clocktower Productions, and MECA International Art Fair, one exhibiting artist from the Mecanismos division of the fair will be awarded a three-month studio residency in Miami for the fall of 2017. Mana and Clocktower have selected a panel of jurors to choose the winning artist, which will be announced at the close of MECA.

Mana Contemporary is a community-led arts destination founded in industrial buildings in Jersey City, Chicago, and Miami. Mana unites artist studios, residencies, exhibition spaces, and arts programming to facilitate conversation and collaboration. Dedicated to celebrating the creative process, Mana offers a communal approach to contemporary art.
MECA International Art Fair or MECA, short for MErcado CAribeño (Spanish for "Caribbean Market"). Founded and directed by Tony Rodríguez and Daniel Báez, MECA will be the meeting point and international platform for the Caribbean art market, made up of a brilliant assembly of young artists and galleries. The main objective is to stimulate art collection. Puerto Rico has a growing art market—with a prosperous artists' community—that is making a solid statement in the international art circuit.
