Living Live: Beats in Space & Closing Reception

Closing Streamcast and Viewing Party with a DJ set by Tim Sweeney of Beats in Space (WNYU) and DJ Jar Jar, live music by Lichens, and special guests as Peter Coffin's exhibit ends its run at Red Bull Studios New York. Note special time 7pm-midnight. Free and open to the public. (21 and over.)

This final installment in a series of six Living Live events celebrates the closing of Peter Coffin's Living exhibition and the Living Live radio shows.

Living Live is a radio series broadcast from Red Bull Studios New York, as part of Peter Coffin's Living exhibition, on view in Red Bull's Chelsea gallery. Hosted by Clocktower, these programs feature music, DJs, interviews and discussions on emerging grassroots radio culture, psychedelia, soundtracks, and other themes of the exhibition. Conceived by Peter Coffin and Alanna Heiss, the series airs live from Red Bull Studios throughout the summer as the space is transformed into a broadcast and viewing party.

Living Live: Closing Party, Tim Sweeney & DJ Jar Jar

DJ set by and an exclusive Jeannie Hopper interview with Tim Sweeney of Beats In Space, followed by another set from DJ Jar Jar from the final Living Live event at Red Bull Studios New York, celebrating the closing of Peter Coffin's Living exhibition and Clocktower's Living Live radio shows. The evening also included a roundtable discussion on new, emerging, innovative and imagined forms of radio as well as the promise and threat of the future. Tim Sweeney is the host of WNYU's dance show Beats In Space, which is also the name of his record label. DJ Jar Jar is Jory Rabinovitz, a New York based visual artist.
