QCA : Artist Commissioning Program, Panel

As part of their new Artist Commissioning Program, the Queens Council on the Arts (QCA) will host their inaugural panels on October 12 and October 13, 2017.

ABOUT

During these panels, two groups of 7-9 art producers from the Queens community will select a total of four artists to receive $10,000 each. The funds will go towards the creation and production of four new works in theater, dance, and music.

This event represents an intensive process in which art producers review dozens of applications from playwrights, choreographers, and composers and to make their final selections. Funds for the program were generously provided by the Sherman Foundation.
