Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, The Latino List

Will Corwin stops by the East Village studio of
Timothy Greenfield-Sanders to discuss his current exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, The Latino List (through Dec. 11, 2011). In the awesome presence of the amazing large format camera Greenfield-Sanders uses to take his penetrating portraits, he tells Corwin the idea behind his "lists" and how he got his start--with lighting and composition pointers from such luminaries as Alfred Hitchcock and Bette Davis! The documentary he's directed, The Latino List, premiers on American television on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 on HBO.
