In preparation for a forthcoming project on Henning Christiansen (1932-2008), Blank Forms' Lawrence Kumpf and Adrian Rew present an overview of the Danish composer and Fluxus artist's eccentric career.

The three-hour program covers work ranging from Christiansen's pioneering contributions to Denmark's New Simplicity movement to his happenings with Joseph Beuys, organ music, impressions of Satie, and songs of ritual sacrifice.

Part 1 takes a general look at the diversity of his practice throughout the years.
