Mary Mattingly, Clocktower artist in residence and creator of the mutable, migratory Flock House Living System Pods, talks with Maria Aiolova, co-founder of Terreform ONE, a Brooklyn-based architecture laboratory that explores the larger framework of green design, including local sustainability in energy, transportation, infrastructure, buildings, waste treatment, food, and water. They discuss migratory infrastructure, the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Mattingly’s Flock Houses, and One Lab’s concept of the Urbaneer.
