Talya Lavie & Dana Ivgy, Zero Motivation

Israeli writer-director Talya Lavie and her lead actress Dana Ivgy scored a hit at home and at last spring's Tribeca Film Festival, where Zero Motivation won the Best Narrative Feature prize. A Catch-22-style satirical send-up of the absurdities of army life for an all-female squadron, Zero Motivation was, Lavie says, inspired by her actual and imagined experiences.

He is the author of the Hollywood spoof The Autobiography of Marla Del Marr as told to Stephen Schaefer  and is currently a film critic and entertainment writer for The Boston Herald; and a contributor to USA Today and Entertainment Weekly.
