On March 23, 2011 a conversation with Melissa Chiu, Director and Curator for Contemporary Asian and Asian-American Art at Asia Society, and legendary (and charmingly vital) Iranian artist Monir Farmanfarmaian talks about her life and work. Farmanfarmaian, who was awarded the Venice Biennale’s Gold Medal in 1958, lives in her home country Iran after residing for nearly a decade in New York. Sponsored by Asian Cultural Council, New York.
