New York Times cultural reporter Dinitia Smith interviews filmmaker Jim Jarmusch as part of the 2006 Arts and Leisure Weekend Times Talks events. Jarmusch discusses highlights of his three-decade long career making over a dozen films including a Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005 for Broken Flowers. In addition to her work for the Times, Dinitia Smith is an author, journalist, and Emmy-award-winning filmmaker. Elise Meyers of the Times introduces the program.
