Strange and fantastic noises have been emanating from the the room next to the main office at the Clocktower, home of ARTonAIR.org. Will walks over to investigate, chatting on-site with composer and musician G Lucas Crane, the recipient of an audio art residency at the Clocktower. Lucas records everything on tape cassettes, using a microphone that hangs in the middle of the room and records all ambient noise. The mysterious thing was that every time Lucas played a musical interlude, it couldn't be heard in the room!Lucas is also one of the miracle workers who created the show space for music and media known as Silent Barn in Ridgewood, Queens (44 minutes).
