Dynamite Super Set

Jeannie Hopper DJs a set of dynamite tunes you might not catch unless you're on the underground dance floors for a late night boogie. Selections from Tall House Records with the super jam Rock the Funky by Slightman & DJ Nickel, hypnotic lyrics by Nylon Records' label owner Jaymz Nylon featured on Atlantic Deep’s The Spoken Truth, and then the latest from Miguel Migs' fabulous Salted Records entitled Feeling by Russ Jay featuring Natalie Wood.

And oh-so-dynamite on the deep tip from Jay-J’s Too Hot, Mountal’s Gold Digger, Mother Jefferson’s Love Off remixed by Tedd Patterson, and Tommy Bones vs Todd Terry’s Figure 8. Rounding out the set, enjoy Phil Weeks' twist on a classic Show You Love, DJ Hamza’s latest LaLune, from India's flagship house music label Wind Horse Records, remixed by New York’s lovely Satyah Hinduja. The finale comes by way of Betasweet featuring Naombra with 300 Vows.

In the Hopper

Gems from independent artists, record labels and producers! Jeannie Hopper has a long-standing herstory of giving artists a chance to be heard. In her DJ sets and on WBAI's Liquid Sound Lounge, she regularly puts together playlists of under-represented and emerging artists so her loyal following can just sit back and avoid the high-intensity shuffle of sorting through all the beautiful and overwhelming things the Information Age has to offer. Now she brings some of that good stuff to Clocktower Radio (formerly Art International Radio, or, AIR).
