Jeannie Hopper interviews New York artist (by way of Argentine pianist), Dario Boente on the occasion of his album release, entitled Limelight. The album encompasses a rich soundscape of jazz styles embracing tango, latin, world and electronica. Boente invited many of his close musical compatriots, most for the first time, from various backgrounds to create Limelight, including Latin Grammy Winner pianist and composer Fernando Otero, four-time Grammy Winner drummer Antonio Sanchez, vibraphone player Christos Rafalides, Gary Foote, Andres Rotmistrovsky, Pablo Aslan on bass, Bandoneon player JP Jofre, and Dr. S. Karthick on Indian percussion.

The interview originally aired live on Hopper's Liquid Sound Lounge radio show that airs Saturday nights on WBAI99.5fm from 7-10pm. Musical selections from Limelight heard throughout the interview include Blues For Joe, Limelight, Go India Go, Prelude to a Prelude, Maiden Voyage and January 15th. The album is available through Circular Moves/Sunnyside Records.
