On March 9, 2011 under the title of Make History Now, a conversation took place at the South Street Seaport Museum between Greg Sholette, artist, author, activist, co-founder of REPOhistory and Assistant Professor of Sculpture at Queens College in New York, and John Kuo Wei Tchen, public historian, dumpster diver, co-founder of the Museum of Chinese in the Americas and Associate Professor of Social and Cultural Analysis, Gallatin School at New York University.

This event was moderated by Frederick Kaufman, Professor at City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism and co-presented with LMCC by the Seaport Museum New York.
